During the lease term in Northern Virginia

During lease, the rental property belongs to the tenant we respect the tenant 's privacy. As the property manager Nesbitt Realty has the right to reasonable entry of the rental property, but we will never abuse that right. If Nesbitt Realty has a good reason to access a rental property in Northern Virginia, the renter must allow us to go into the rental home. Some good reasons to go into rental property are to:

  • Inspect the rental,
  • Perform maintenance or improvements,
  • Supply agreed services, or
  • Show the rental home to prospective or actual purchasers, mortgagees, workmen, or contractors.

Nesbitt Realty will always strive to give the renter notice and obtain renter consent before coming into the rental home. However, Nesbitt Realty can and will come into the rental property without tenant consent in emergency situations. We will never abuse the right of entrance or use it to harass tenants in Northern Virginia. Nesbitt Realty will only enter at reasonable hours of the day, except in the case of an emergency.
