During the lease term in Montclair

During tenancy, the rental property belongs to the renter we respect the renter 's privacy. As the property manager Nesbitt Realty has the right and duty to reasonable entry of the rental home, but we will never abuse that right. If Nesbitt Realty has a good reason to access a rental property in Montclair, the renter must allow us to access the rental. Some justifiable reasons to come into rental property are to:

  • Inspect the rental property,
  • Perform maintenance or alterations,
  • Provide agreed services, or
  • Show the rental to prospective or actual purchasers, mortgagees, workmen, or contractors.

Nesbitt Realty will always strive to give the renter notice and obtain renter consent prior to entering the rental property. However, Nesbitt Realty can and will enter the rental property without tenant consent in emergency situations. We will never abuse the right of entrance or use it to agitate renters in Montclair. Nesbitt Realty will only go into at reasonable hours of the day, except in an emergency.
